Our 2025 Plumstead Candidates

In 2025, Vote for Supervisors and Tax Collector Like YOUR Life and YOUR Wallet Depend On It... Because They DO!

As the township’s legislative body, the Plumstead Township Board of Supervisors enacts ordinances, adopts budgets, and levies taxes. There is no separately elected executive so the Supervisors also perform such functions as enforcing ordinances, approving expenditures, and hiring employees.

In Plumstead Township, the Republican majority and consistent Republican Leadership have PREVENTED frivolous spending and huge tax increases without compromising quality of life. Unlike what we’ve seen in Bucks County, Doylestown, other townships, and the Central Bucks School District, all where Democrats are in control, Plumstead Township remains vibrant, welcoming, and well managed with reasonable taxes.

Lurleen Worthington, raised on a dairy farm, has been active in Community, Church and Business. Currently, she serves as a member of the Plumstead Township Environmental Advisory Council.

Jim McComb is completing his sixth year as a Township Supervisor and is seeking re-election to keep Plumstead, Plumstead. He is currently serving for a third year as Chairman of the Board of Supervisors.

Lurleen and Jim have more than 56 years of residency in Plumstead Township. They know and love our Township and its balance of suburban and rural/farm community values. They are NOT “newcomers” and will NOT allow Philadelphia, Chicago or New York type policies here. Together, they will ensure that the proven, successful, sound, and responsible Republican Leadership of Plumstead Township continues to work for YOU.

Vote for BOTH, Lurleen Worthington and Jim McComb:

They work well together and spend countless hours reviewing current issues and anticipating emerging needs. ONLY Lurleen and Jim will continue defending Taxpayers money, enhancing our Infrastructure and Community, and Protecting ALL Residents with prudent and common-sense solutions and budgets.
