Lurleen Worthington is running for Township Supervisor alongside Jim McComb, who is seeking re-election on November 4th, 2025. “When you view the high-quality services provided under Republican Leadership in Plumstead Township, you realize how fortunate we are here. The lofty promises made by others are just empty rhetoric resulting in steep tax increases that we’ve already seen in Democrat-run townships, the County, and local school districts. Just look at your latest real estate tax bill. Even if you rent your home in Plumstead, these outrageous increases ultimately appear in your rising rent.
Together, Lurleen Worthington and Jim McComb have over 56 years of residency in Plumstead. They are well suited to lead and enhance the direction of the Township while “keeping Plumstead, Plumstead” for generations to come. Jim, a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam War veteran is in his third year as Chairman of the Board of Supervisors. He has secured increased funding for land preservation and additional funding for police, fire, and EMS services. Lurleen currently serves on the Environmental Advisory Council and has been actively engaged in the community for many years. Her business and volunteer experiences give her outstanding perspectives and insights to creatively solve challenges while managing costs and budgets.
