As Plumstead Township celebrates its 300th Anniversary, our Nation is launching a yearlong commemoration of its founding 249 years ago. Most republics “last” about 250 years. Will ours survive longer?
Bucks County PA and Plumstead Township served a pivitol role in the American Revolution and the birth of our nation. This experiment in a Constitutional Republic, a democracy, continues regardless of our political divides and differences. We live in the greatest country on Earth, but it is being tested in ways never imagined but certainly anticipated by some of our founders.
